Entrepreneurship is a key driver of economic growth the world over.  While there has been a significant increase in the role of private enterprise in the economies of the New Independent States over the last decade, the transition continues. New entrepreneurs are still in need of support for opening new business and sustaining existing enterprises. In order to accelerate the development of entrepreneurship and grow the number of private enterprises, EFCA has identified the following priorities:

  • Improve business practices
  • Increase access to financial resources
  • Decrease legal and regulatory barriers to business development
  • Develop social entrepreneurship
