A seminar on mentoring was conducted in Atyrau

In Atyrau on the 1-st of June, a seminar on mentoring was conducted as a part of the program "Zharkyra" for the development of social entrepreneurship in the city of Atyrau and Zhylyoi district, carried out with the financial support of "Tengizchevroil" LLP.

Pavel Koktyshev was the speaker of the seminar, who is co-founder of the business incubator «MOST» and a business coach. His visit was made possible because of the "Chevron" company, which supports the development of social entrepreneurship in Kazakhstan.

The seminar was attended by the winners of the first stage of the "Zharkyra" competition and Atyrau entrepreneurs, who want to become mentors for novice businessmen.

The seminar participants considered concepts, principles, international mentoring experience and success stories, criteria and methods for selection of mentors and mentees.

At the end of the workshop participants of the "Zharkyra" program will assigned to the selected business mentors for further work on their social business project. According to those present, it is an interesting experience for both beginners and experienced entrepreneurs.

The "Zharkyra" program is aimed at promoting the innovative social initiatives, aimed at ensuring the sustainable entrepreneurial solutions to social, economic and environmental problems of communities in Atyrau and Zhylyoi district.
