The action "Do good" for children with HIV has passed in Ust-Kamenogorsk

Individual entrepreneurs of the regional center presented toys and stationery to 21 children living with the human immunodeficiency virus.

This is the exact number of HIV-positive children that are registered in the regional center. All in all, in the EKR, according to the Regional AIDS Centre, there are 45 registered children with HIV. Some of them are currently in orphanage. Organizers of the action LLC "Kuat" gave the gifts from sponsors to the Regional AIDS Center, where children are registered. The gifts from there will be delivered to the recipients.

It is worth noting that the action was held under the auspices of the World AIDS Memorial Day. This day is celebrated in the world since 1983, and in Ust-Kamenogorsk - since 2009. On this day employees of public organizations that provide support to people living with HIV are gathering to read poetry and to light candles, laid out in the form of a ribbon - a sign of struggle against AIDS. - This day is sad and at the same time organizing us to resist the disease - said the Chief doctor of the Regional AIDS Center Marina Zhegolko. For those who have HIV status - to help, to show that together we can fight the disease. By tradition everyone came to the Regional AIDS Center where the seedlings of birches and lilac were planted.  Annually public figures plant trees here in memory of those who were taken by the terrible disease.
