The Children of Chernobyl and the Aral Sea (CCAS) Foundation recognized as the organization that has implemented the most socially significant project

At the end of December 2015, in the city of Kyzylorda, the Regional Akimat of the Coordination of Employment and Social Programs of the Kyzylorda Oblast organized a contest of social projects of public organizations providing services to people with special needs. Fifteen public organizations took part in the competition. Children of Chernobyl and the Aral Sea was recognized as the organization that has implemented the most socially significant project in the region and was awarded a special certificate of the Regional Akimat.

During the meeting with the oblast Akim, K. E. Kusherbayev, the executive director of CCAS, K. T. Isayeva spoke about the goals, objectives, and already attained results of the "Child in the Family" project aimed at the prevention of social orphanhood of children from 0 to 3 years old, implemented under the Initiative to Support Good Governance with the financial support of USAID, the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia, and the technical and consultative assistance of UNICEF in Kazakhstan.
