Taldykorgan hosted the workshop for school psychologist

Taldykorgan – On 6th of April PU “Female Rural Network of Almaty oblast” conducted the  workshop “Forms and methods of identifying underage victims of cruel treatment and domestic violence in the work of school psychologists”

The workshop was conducted within the project “Family without conflicts and violence” within the framework of EFCA program “Empowering South Kazakhstan CSOs to Promote Human Rights Reforms” supported by the European Union Delegation to Kazakhstan.

The workshop was dedicated to the identification of underage victims of cruel treatment and ways of helping them. The participants were presented principles and methods of violence prevention, concept and types of cruel treatment of children.  During the practical exercises in groups participants developed a scheme of work on protection of children rights.  

The workshop was organized for school psychologists of Taldykorgan with the aims of professional development, and improved interaction between psychologists with juvenal police and NGOs on issues of provision of qualified assistance to victims of cruel treatment.
