Semi-finalists of "Zharkyra" contest were announced

Atyrau, Kazakhstan - Today EFCA announced the names of 25 semi-finalists of the "Zharkyra" program competition. The contest of concepts of social business projects is held within the framework of the program for the development of social entrepreneurship "Zharkyra" in Atyrau and Zhylyoi region with the financial support of "Tengizchevroil" LLP.

70 business concepts with a social mission prepared by entrepreneurs and creative residents of the district were presented at the contest. For the selection of projects in the semifinal of the competition, an expert committee consisting of 8 people was formed. Members of the expert committee voted on three main criteria:

• Motivation for engaging in social entrepreneurship (1-5 points)

• Social impact of the project (1-5 points)

• Business potential of the idea (1-5 points)
