Public hearings on the project "Equal rights for different children"

Kostanay, Kazakhstan - July 27, 2016 Perekrestok Public Fund in the framework of the project "Equal Rights for Different Children", implemented under the USAID program "Initiative to Support Effective Governance" with the support of the "Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia" will hold public hearings and a press conference.

Within the framework of the project "Equal Rights for Different Children," a number of planned activities were held to draft proposals for the inclusion in the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan of the financing of recreation for children with disabilities and transfer to Deputies for further promotion and lobbying.

The project participants are disabled children and their parents, guardians, deputies of the city and regional maslikhat, representatives of NGOs, representatives of state institutions, parties, the media.

At this meeting, the results of meetings with the deputies of the regional Maslikhat and with the deputies of the Majlis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan will be announced, as well as the overall results of the project.

The Public Fund Perekrestok carries out programs for children and youth of the city of Kostanay, supports youth initiatives, develops volunteer movements, and implements programs to provide services for people with disabilities.
