Primary school teachers increase social and psychological competence
At the end of November, in the village Kuryk of the Mangistau region was held a seminar-training of social and psychological competence of the individual "Effective personality" for primary school teachers. This training was held in the framework of the social program "Learning together!" aimed at improving the quality of school education. The training consisted of two components: group work and individual sessions. 58 people took part in group work, and individual sessions were held for 56 people.
With the help of the training, the organizers tried to solve the problem of psychological violence against students common in rural schools.
"We are certain that by working through personal psychological trauma and relieving stress, teachers will become more calm, harmonious and confident and will quit losing their temper on children, as it often happens in the classroom. After all, only in a safe environment, can the real development of the child take place," says Azhar Nurbay, Project Manager at EFCA.
The training was attended by about 60 teachers from 4 primary schools of Kuryk village, who for 5 days studied self-actualization, revealed their potential, identified personal opportunities, eliminated limiting beliefs, got rid of fears and complexes, learned humanistic approaches in the education of children, acquired skills of effective communication with children and parents, worked on the motivation to improve the quality of primary education.
"The training went perfectly. I got a lot of knowledge. I understood my mission in life, which is to serve people, to humanity. I realized that human possibilities are limitless. But we need to properly develop and use them... I also learned how to build the right relationships with children and parents. I express my gratitude to the organizers for this great opportunity they gave", - shares his impressions primary school teacher, participant of the training.
