Press-release: Meeting of representatives of local authorities, government agencies, and representatives of civil society

On August 20, 2015, a meeting was held on the "Child in the Family" project, implemented as part of the Initiative to Support Good Governance in the Akimat of the Kyzylorda Oblast. This project is aimed at the introduction of an integrated model of special social services for the prevention of social orphanhood of children from 0 to 3 years old. The project will be implemented in state institutions of the city of Kyzylorda and in the NGO "Mama's House" from July 1, 2015 to February 29, 2016. Representatives of local authorities, state institutions, the Regional Commission for Women and Demographic Policy, representatives of civil society organizations, and the media were invited to the meeting.

The organizer of the meeting was the Children of Chernobyl and the Aral Sea Fund in partnership with the Akimat of the Kyzylorda Oblast as part of the Initiative to Support Good Governance with the financial support of the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia and the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
