Inclusive society, problems of people with disabilities and ways to solve them

Kokshetau, Kazakhstan - On June 21, 2016, the ECOMEC BF, together with the Akmola oblast branch of the Zhas Otan MK, the Nur Otan Party, with the support of the Department for Youth Policy of the Akmola region, within the framework of USAID's "Initiative to Support Effective Governance" held a roundtable on the topic "Birlistik Zholy: Inclusive society, problems of people with disabilities and ways to solve them."

During the discussions, issues of providing affordable housing for people with disabilities and creating an accessible environment in the Akmola region, difficulties in finding employment for people with high needs, prospects for the development of social entrepreneurship in the region will be discussed. Almaz Yerzhan, President of the Public Fund "Charitable Fund" eKOMEK ", members of the Council for monitoring the barrier-free environment for persons with disabilities of the regional branch of the party" Nur Otan ", experts and representatives of NGOs will take part in the event.

This event is held within the framework of the project "Birlistik Zholy" in order to create an open discussion platform for discussing state programs, intensifying the interaction of deputies, local representative bodies of all levels and the faction of the Nur Otan party, as well as developing constructive proposals for improving the quality of life of persons with limited opportunities.

The public foundation "eKOMEK Charitable Foundation", mobilizing public and private resources, helps people with disabilities to actively participate in building their own future.
