In Taldykorgan, a seminar for inspectors of juvenile police was held

Taldykorgan - July 12, 2016 NGO "Women's rural network of Almaty region" held a seminar "Prevention of juvenile delinquency" for inspectors of the juvenile police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the City of Taldykorgan.

This seminar was held within the framework of the project "Family Without Conflict and Violence" with the support of the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia at the expense of funds provided by the Delegation of the European Union to the Republic of Kazakhstan as part of the program "Strengthening the Opportunities of NGOs in Southern Kazakhstan to Promote Human Rights Reforms".

During the seminar, participants were presented with types of offenses among minors, the psychological characteristics of juvenile delinquents, "preventive measures" to prevent juvenile delinquency. In small subgroups, the participants of the seminar developed recommendations aimed at the work on early identification of problems in families. At the end of the seminar, the school police inspectors shared their professional experience in the prevention of juvenile delinquency, and also made suggestions for improving preventive work among adolescents.

The seminar was organized for inspectors of the juvenile police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the city of Taldykorgan with the goal of training school inspectors in working with juvenile delinquents and preventing juvenile delinquency.
