Electronic health registry
Astana, Kazakhstan - April 7, 2016 from 15-00 to 16-30 at the address: Astana, Republic st. , 50, the establishment "The Edu-Productional Enterprise of the Kazakh Society of the Deaf in Astana" will hold a roundtable discussion on the concept of the information platform "Electronic Registry in Health Care".
The aim of the project is to promote the use of information systems in healthcare through the development of an electronic registry platform based on the site of the clinic No. 2 in Astana.
The project of the electronic registry is a new approach allowing to ensure the full integration and continuity of medical care, exclude duplication of various services and resources, simplify the procedure for recording a patient to a doctor, and also reduce the time of medical care.
The electronic registry allows online access to receive all necessary information about the patient's health status, the results of clinical trials, and the intended treatment.
The main principles of the electronic registry are:
-
choice of work schedules of the physicians, taking appointments at the clinic;
-
the ability to sign up a patient to see a doctor in a wide time range - within a day to a month;
-
the possibility of setting up primary and follow-up visits to the clinic as well as doctor visits at home;
-
the possibility of obtaining information about the history of visits to the clinic, their medical history and appointments through the patient's private account.
The presented project is an innovative solution for state and non-governmental medical institutions. At the same time, the created system of the user's personal account and online registration allows reducing the time for processing information about patient diseases, providing electronic referrals without a visit to the doctor for repeated medical examinations to persons on dispensary records.
The project "Electronic Registry in Health Care" is implemented within the framework of USAID's "Initiative to Support Effective Governance" with the support of the Public Fund "Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia".
