EFCA has signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Fund "Our Future"

Moscow, Russia - 18 May, EFCA officially signed a memorandum of cooperation with the regional social programs Fund "Our Future", Russia. The signing ceremony was held in the Moscow office of the Fund with participation of the Director of the Fund "Our Future" Natalia Zvereva and the Executive Director of EFCA Rinad Temirbekov.

"Our funds are planning to cooperate in such areas as educational programs, mentoring for social entrepreneurs, as well as we will share experiences and undertake joint activities. Cooperation with the Fund is a priority for the EFCA, as we see the development of social entrepreneurship one of the key vectors of our work and strategic development. The Fund "Our Future" is the largest organization specifically supporting the development of social entrepreneurship all across Russia. The Fund implements all phases of support for social entrepreneurs from popularization, training and financing to assistance in the marketing of products. Comprehensive approach and commitment of the Fund are an example for us. We are happy to start this cooperation ", - said Rinad Temirbekov.

In addition, EFCA staff took part in the award ceremony "IMPULSE OF GOOD", which was held on May 17, 2016. This is an annual award for contribution to the development and promotion of social entrepreneurship in Russia, established by the Fund of regional social programs "Our Future". The prize is awarded to social entrepreneurs, representatives of public organizations, heads of state bodies and relevant agencies, journalists, media and higher education institutions of Russia. For the last five years the award has been presented to 58 laureates from 17 regions.

"Of course, this is a large-scale event with the participation of government, federal authorities and big business. A lot of support and understanding of the importance of social entrepreneurship at all levels  from business and social entrepreneurs themselves to the federal authorities and central administration, was felt. The social entrepreneurs fair was interesting as well, which had been held before the award, where we were able to meet with social entrepreneurs from all over Russia. Some of them could already share the positive results of the impact of their activities not only on the social, but also the economic development of their regions. Thanks to the event, we had a lot of ideas and energy for the development of this direction in our country ", - said Indira Aitbai, Development Manager, EFCA, who attended the event.
