Agrarian portal was presented for farmers in Almaty oblast

Farmers and representatives of Koksu district akimats of Almaty region gathered today for a training seminar where they were presented the first domestic agro-portal "agrobiz.kz".

"When I first heard about the seminar, I was biased against it. I was convinced that this training is just a formality, without concrete benefits. But after the presentation of the project, when I saw how easy and affordable this project is for our farmers, my opinion has definitely changed," - says Balpyk rural district akim Aliya Kaliyeva.

According to the organizers of the event, in the long-run, the portal will be a unified database of farmers and rural districts from all over Kazakhstan.

The agro-portal was created within the framework of the GGIF project "Farmers of Kazakhstan". The project team "Farmers of Kazakhstan" also plans to work in the South Kazakhstan and Zhambyl oblasts.
