A seminar for representatives of the Central State authorities was held in Astana

On October 10, 2017, a seminar/training for representatives of the Central State authorities on "Improving the level of interaction between the state and non-governmental organizations" within the state grant "Development of Civil Society in the Republic of Kazakhstan" of the JSC "Center for support of Civil Initiatives" with the support of the Ministry of Religious Affairs and Сivil Society of Kazakhstan was held.

Organizers of the event: JSC "Center of Civil Initiative" Almaty, together with the project partner — CF "Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia".

The seminar was attended by leading industry experts and leading experts of 8 ministries of the Republic of Kazakhstan, which in their activities directly interact with NGOs. Also among the participants were representatives of JSC "Center for support of Civil Initiatives". 

Within the framework of the project, this event was one of the main elements of the formation of an idea of the level of interaction between the state and public organizations, as the main goal of the project is to improve the mechanisms of effective interaction of civil society institutions and public authorities. Therefore, the meeting with representatives of the Central authorities could not be more promoted and directly influenced the solution to this issue.

So, since the beginning of the project, The center of the civil initiative directly interacts with all ministries of Kazakhstan, in order to exchange information and research mechanisms for the interaction of the state with non-governmental organizations. All the information obtained is the basis of the analytical material, which will be completed on the basis of the project. 

In general, the training seminar presented the intermediate results of the analytical material, which helped participants to get an idea of the current processes of interaction between the state and civil society, as well as the role of Public councils in this direction in Kazakhstan. 

The invited trainer of this seminar was Gulyaev S.N., General Director of "Desenta", Pavlodar, who presented to the participants an overview of the practice of transfer of public functions and services to a competitive environment. Another topic of the seminar "Public Council as one of the effective forms of interaction with the public" (coach A.I. Bratenkov, Almaty), which participants noted as the most relevant at the moment. 

The participants of the seminar showed maximum interest in the project theme and expressed their desire for further fruitful assistance.
