Residents of Kuryk village will improve their financial literacy
Training will be conducted in Kuryk village, intended on improving financial literacy on August 28, 2017. The training is conducted within the framework of the project "Development of Entrepreneurial Potential in Kuryk village", Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia with the financial support of ERSAI.
The venue of the training: Kuryk village, Karakiya professional College, St. District 2, Building 217 (auditorium). The training will be lead by Aksaule Dzhandarbekova practicing business coach, specializing in Western regions of the country.
The plan of the training - the basics of financial literacy (planning, family budget, budgeting, financial services, loans, liabilities, and assets, etc.). One of the objectives of the training is to increase the level of awareness and interest among the villagers in the practices and forms of individual entrepreneurship and self-employment.
Many years of experience of EFCA in the region showed that the increase of financial literacy among ordinary citizens of Kuryk will stimulate in the long-term sustainable interest and involvement of local residents in independent forms of work, which will increase the level of employment, development of entrepreneurship in rural areas, and will increase the volume of income generated by the population as a whole.
Thus, expected results of the training are:
Raising awareness of financial instruments and methods of planning among the population of Kuryk village;
Increasing financial accountability and involvement of local residents in self-employment; and
Increasing the level of use of new technologies and innovations in the regions in relation to the priority sectors of the economy.
