International experts conducted trainings on USAID project in Almaty
The USAID project "Good Governance Initiative Fund", implemented by the Eurasia Foundation of Central Asia, held trainings on advocacy and social marketing and communications in Almaty on 19-22 June.
The trainings are organized with the aim of further development of the potential of organizations –grant recipients of GGIF, and are a logical continuation of the seminars held within the framework of the project in February 2017.
At the same time, the main purpose of the training on advocacy will be to increase the effectiveness of grant projects, and social marketing - to achieve sustainable results of grant projects through support and drawing attention to the problems and solutions offered within the projects, among the target audience and the General public.
Anush Begloyan, an expert from Armenia, conducted a training on advocacy. Russian coach Vladimir Weiner worked with the participants of the training on social marketing and communications.
According to the coaches, the audience is very strong, the potential is great. The coaches admitted that the seminar was more like a meeting and exchange of views of experts. They expressed confidence that the presentations and materials of the training will help grantees to promote their projects.
"Very comprehensive training sessions, many practical chips, ready-to-use – "do it". It is useful that all practical exercises immediately receive feedback from the coach, and you can see your mistakes," - says the participant of the training, an employee of the social and corporate Fund "ZUBR" Eugene Schreiber (Ust-Kamenogorsk).
"On advocacy, she highlighted the key and supportive messages, the "spiral of silence" and the key communicators. And in social marketing - a model of communication, information campaign and work with the media. I am very glad that I got the opportunity to learn from high - class coaches," she added.
A colleague of Eugene's, Zhadyra Anabaena (SCF "ZUBR", Ust-Kamenogorsk), is confident that "the obtained knowledge it is 100% uses in its work in the promotion of projects."
The participants of both trainings will be provided with individual consultations within six weeks after the end of the training.
